Sarah Lincoln

Senior Partner


Sarah is the Senior Partner in the practice and has worked dealing with high value, complex and military personal injury claims since 2008.  Sarah qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 though has been working in the legal industry since 2000. Sarah mainly worked in litigation but also trained for a year in conveyancing during her training contract and since 2017 has been dealing with conveyancing matters along side the litigation.

 

She believes in fostering a happy working environment to ensure that our clients are in turn well looked after. 

 

Outside the office Sarah enjoys time spent with her family and friends.


Michelle Hadley

Litigation Executive


Michelle has worked in the legal sector for 20 years.   She started her career as an office junior and has progressed her skills over the years through training, hard work and determination.   Michelle deals mainly with the recovery of vehicle related losses incurred through Road Traffic Accidents such as repairs, credit hire, storage and recovery etc.  She is also experienced in dealing with all types of personal injury claims and aims to achieve the best result possible for her clients.

 

In her spare time Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, walking her two dogs or relaxing in the outdoors by a campfire.


Kerrie Bale

Partner and Head of Litigation


Kerrie Bale is the Head of Litigation at the firm. She was admitted to the roll in 2002 and has joined the firm in 2019.


She has an extensive background in litigation, having represented both Claimant and Defendants. Over the years she has specialised in Insurance Fraud and Credit Hire Litigation. Her areas of expertise include high value fraud cases, credit hire cases, personal injury (including RTA, EL and PL cases). She has previously worked on large insurer client accounts providing tailored and effective strategies to meet their business needs.


As a Partner, her responsibilities include the technical training and development of fee earners within the Litigation Department.


In her spare time she enjoys skiing and spending time with her family and friends.


Hollie Childs

Legal Assistant in the  Private Client Department


Hollie is an apprentice within the practice, she studied law at A-Level and found it really interesting which encouraged her to enter a career in law. 


She is keen to carry on learning and gaining as much knowledge as she can in order to further her career within the legal sector. Currently she is assisting the partners in the practice. 


In her spare time she enjoys playing football and spending time with her friends and family.  She also has a strong passion for makeup and beauty.


Maria Newton

Accounts Clerk


Maria’s first job was in an accounts department, but she spent most of her working years in the film industry. She worked in New Zealand for 5 years for Sky TV NZ and helped launch Sky Movies in 1990. She worked with HBO when they bought the movie channel and spent time in New York with the HBO staff, learning about their product and way of scheduling.


Upon returning to the UK she put her career on hold to start a family. Once her two children started secondary school she returned to accounts and in 2010 joined Watts and Leeding Solicitors as their Accounts clerk.   


In her spare time Maria enjoys spending time with her  family, walking the dog, photography, watching movies and visiting different places, both in the UK and abroad.


Paige Sanderson

Legal Assistant and Receptionist

 

Paige has recently completed  her Business Administration Apprenticeship and is currently assisting within the conveyancing department.

 

Paige is keen to learn more and is going to be joining CILEx in the near future to improve her knowledge and further her Career in the legal sector.

 

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, arts & crafts and socialising with friends and family.
